Today is 090909, it is Wednesday there will be plenty of celebration. One of the main attractions will be weddings, even though it is the month of Ghost Festival. For Chinese it is commonly called the Hungry Ghost Festival.

Not many couples will choose this month for weddings. I know most old folks will not allowed and particular about the day of wedding. Anyway, many couples go ahead with their wedding. I mean how often are you going to come by with the date of 090909?

I think some pregnant mom might choose this date for their baby born. If baby is delivered using c-section.

Not long ago I read in newspaper that 090909 is the day many couple registration for marriage.

Chap Goh Meh and Chinese Valentine's Day

Tomorrow is Chap Goh Meh, Chap Goh means fifteenth and last day of the Lunar New Year period. Do you know that Chap Goh Meh is a hokkien dialect. If you love Valentine's Day this is the day of Chinese Valentine's Day too. Some of my friends told me there is Lantern Festival but I do not know where it is held.

I like to take this chance to wish everyone a Happy Chinese Valentine's Day. Some people who are looking for love will be ready tomorrow as they are taking the mandarin orange with them. What type of celebration are you going to plan for this Valentine's Day?

A friend was asking me what to get for a gal? Well, here is some suggestion I have in mind. How about pretty jewelry and a candle dinner? It will be better to bring your girlfriend to go shopping and let her choose what she likes. If you have any better idea, you are welcome to share.

You know one of my friend told me that someone have bought her colleague a brand new car for Valentine's Day. It is a surprise for her! Do you think she will be in a situation of feeling Total Loss ?

Ninth Day of Chinese New Year

Yesterday is the Ninth Day of Chinese New Year. Ninth Day of Chinese New Year was the celebration of the Jade Emperor's Birthday. My friend Lyn was telling me that she will be busy on that night because her family is having prayer that night. The Hokkien community were the one busy preparing for the ninth day of this lunar new year.

Do you know what food items are bought for prayers? The most important will be sugar cane. Some people are busy with preparing for the prayers. Some people on the other hand is busy with other things. My sister has start work since last Wednesday.

My dad went to visit my uncle and aunt the other day. He told me that they are busy playing poker, mahjung and other gaming. I think if they know how to use computer and Internet. I am sure they will be interested to play Casino Online .

I think everyone will need to get their beauty sleep after one tired day. My friend Lyn is going back to work tomorrow. She has such a long break for Chinese New Year. I hope there is no jet-leg for her. I think some people have jet-leg after a long break.

Third day of Chinese New Year

Yesterday, we went for dinner and it supposed to be a good meal but it turned out not at all. What happened? We have the first dish out and we were so hungry and just eat it. The dinner starts at 8.30 at night, you can imagine how hungry we are as usually we have the dinner at 6.30 in the evening. The food was not great and the meat balls are not cooked at all. I did not know it as we have eaten it in the first dish and during the 4th dish the same meat balls are out again.

We paid for the dinner $300 and the restaurant wanted to charge more but everyone disagree. They are so many of us there at the restaurant. Friends and family members and I think that the restaurant should not charge that expensive. Since someone has ate the meat ball that is not cooked. I think the meat balls have spoiled everyone appetite. I do not feel like eating then. We came home, and everyone is asking for pizza hut and so they ordered. But I did not eat as I lose my appetite and since I saw the meat balls.

I think the money can be spend on other foods like satay or eat at another restaurant. If I know there is such food served at the restaurant I rather stay at home to play the Slot Machine Games. I know my friends are happily staying at their home playing mahjong and poker.

Believe me after that meal at the restaurant, it will be our first and the last time to go back there to eat. Tell me if you will go back the same restaurant that serves you the raw meat ball. The meat ball looks delicious from the outside but the inside is raw. I think they have too many customer at the restaurant and they lose track on their food.

Gong Xi Fa Cai to my friends

Gong Xi Fa Cai to all my friends who are celebrating Chinese New Year this year. I am sure they know what is the meaning of Gong Xi Fa Cai. I do not know how to say it in English. A friend told me that Fa means Wealth, Cai means Success. Some of my friends have plan on going to Genting Highlands. I am sure they are eyeing on the Theme Parks and also going to the Casino. Some friends are unable to go because the last minute booking for rooms are not available for them. I know because I have try check for them.

I guess what they can do is just go online and play Casino. It will be easy for them as they have the internet access at home. I know this time of the year they will be gather around to play jackpot and mahjung. I hope everyone has a blessed new year with no worries, no bad moods, no sickness, and happy always. Do not forget to plan your resolution for this year.

My resolution for this year are lose weight, save money, get fit, and eat right. Health is important because even if you have a lot of money you cannot buy health. I will be away for a few days. I will try to online if I able to find internet access at the area.
